Lauren is a piano and voice teacher at Musicologie Westerville.

Renée is one of our amazing voice and beginning piano instructors here at Musicologie Westerville! She began taking voice and piano lessons at a young age from the Cincinnati Music Academy and later graduated from Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music where she received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. While at CCM, Renée was awarded the John Lehman Award for Excellence in Leadership and Musicianship for her ensemble work. She has also performed and studied with the Opera Theatre of Lucca, Italy and the Moores Opera Center in Houston, Texas.

Before settling in Columbus, Renée spent 9 years in New York City, where she had an extensive performing career. She appeared in numerous opera and musical theatre productions, summer festivals, concerts and recitals, and outreach and educational programs, with choirs and with jazz and folk ensembles. During her time in NYC, Renée taught voice privately, working with students of all age ranges and skill levels, including professional performers.

Renée is an active member of The Voice Foundation and stays up to date with the latest in voice science and pedagogy. In addition to teaching at Musicologie, she works as a voice over artist from her Grandview recording studio.
